Pew Envelopes
May Pew Envelopes Benefit St. Paul’s Camp Faith
With few daycare alternatives when school ends, children left unsupervised in the city of Camden during the long, hot days of summer can be a dangerous situation for many reasons. For children of low-income families, summer vacation can also mean going without breakfast and lunch as the school food programs that provide these basic meals end when summer vacation begins.
With your help, Camp Faith run by St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Camden can continue to give 50 to 100 children five weeks of Summer Camp. Their goal is to provide a fun filled safe environment where children come to know Jesus through bible stories, songs, games, sports, crafts, and outings.
In 2023 the cost for each child was about $500 and with this year’s inflation it will certainly be more. Your donations will help to provide breakfast and lunch, supplies, and staff to run this vital ministry. The results have been clear as many of the campers have become counselors themselves and have also gone on to become more involved in the church and their community.
Please help support Camp Faith with your donations using the outreach envelopes, the QR code or drop off a check to the office made out to Trinity noted for “Camp Faith”. Also please consider the volunteer opportunities to help out at the camp and to make sandwiches for lunches.
Thank you for your support of Trinity’s Community Outreach.
