March Donations Support Family Promise of Burlington County
Losing the security of stable housing devastates families and alters the life of children. Family Promise of Burlington County provides assistance to families with minor children to help prevent homelessness right here in our community. Last year they assisted 33 families and are now on track to help over 50 families stay in stable housing.
They work with families providing rental assistance, landlord mediation, financial and employment counseling to get them through rough times so they can stay in their homes. Some families are placed into emergency housing like local hotels and transitional housing like Trinity’s property on 2nd Street. Stability in a warm safe environment, along with consistent case management, enables these families to move on to permanent housing usually within 6 months.
Please help Family Promise continue their ministry to prevent homelessness in our community. This month we have the opportunity to make our donations even stronger! By making your donation throughout the month of March, your donation will be MATCHED by a special grant to Family Promise!
Donations can be made using the envelopes found in your pew, dropped off or mailed to the office or by using the QR code. Please designate for “March Family Promise ”
Thank You for your support of Trinity’s Community Outreach!
