April Donations Support Camp Faith in Camden
For many children in Camden, summer vacation often means a shortage of breakfast, lunch and supervision. If there are no daycare alternatives when school ends, a child left unsupervised during the long hot days of summer can be a dangerous situation for many reasons.
With your help, Camp Faith run by St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Camden can provide 50 to100 children five weeks of Summer Day Camp. Their goal is to provide a joy filled, safe environment where children come to know Jesus through Bible stories, songs, games, sports, crafts and outings. It is one of the few ways that children in Camden can be nourished spiritually, emotionally and physically as breakfast and lunch are provided daily. These may be the only daily meals they receive, and they often ask for extras for dinner or to take home to a sibling.
Please help support Camp Faith with your April Donations by using the outreach envelope found in the pews, the QR code or dropping off a check to the office. Please designate for April CF.
