March Donations Support Family Promise of Burlington County

Losing the security of stable housing devastates families and alters the life of children. Family Promise of Burlington County provides assistance to families with minor children to help prevent homelessness right here in our community. Last year they assisted 33 families and are now on track to help over 50 families stay in stable housing.

They work with families providing rental assistance, landlord mediation, financial and employment counseling to get them through rough times so they can stay in their homes. Some families are placed into emergency housing like local hotels and transitional housing like Trinity’s property on 2nd Street. Stability in a warm safe environment, along with consistent case management, enables these families to move on to permanent housing usually within 6 months.

Please help Family Promise continue their ministry to prevent homelessness in our community. This month we have the opportunity to make our donations even stronger!  By making your donation throughout the month of March, your donation will be MATCHED by a special grant to Family Promise!

Donations can be made using the envelopes found in your pew, dropped off or mailed to the office or by using the QR code. Please designate for “March Family Promise ”

Thank You for your support of Trinity’s Community Outreach!

Community Capital Grant Program

As part of our successful Campaign for Trinity, building Trinity stronger and more welcoming for all, we have the opportunity to extend that strength into the community around us by making select grants to partner organizations to launch new programs or make capital improvements to existing facilities in order to better serve our neighbors in need and make the community beyond our walls stronger and more welcoming for all.

Trinity Household Needs Pantry

Our current Pantry hours are Thursday, 9:30 – 11 a.m. Pantry drop offs or pickups may be arranged at other times pending staff availability. Please call 856-235-0811 to schedule any delivery or pick up from the office.

In order to best serve our community, Trinity is focusing the resources of our pantry on non-perishable household necessities that are not covered under EBT or SNAP. We hope this shift will help ease some of the financial strain of the families we serve. We are asking for the following items:

  • Baby wipes
  • Women’s Deodorant
  • Tissues
  • Household cleaning supplies (dish soap, all-purpose cleaner)
  • Laundry Detergent (Tide, Cheer, Gain)
  • Shampoo/Conditioner/Body Wash

***Please do not donate any opened or used products***

We understand that many of these items can be purchased in bulk. Please ensure that products purchased in bulk can be safely separated. For example: bulk toilet paper or paper towels can be separated by roll whereas bulk laundry detergent cannot be easily made available to more than one guest. We are excited to help fill a growing need in our community and appreciate your support!
Please Note: We are only collecting the items listed above. If you would like to donate food please consider the following places in Moorestown: Live Civilly, The First Baptist Church, St. Matthews, and Bethel AME.

Donations can be made here or checks can be sent to Trinity. Please mark checks “Scholarship Fund”.
