This year, our youth chose St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital for their service project. In February, thanks to the generosity of the Trinity congregation, we were able to raise $1,685. We are so grateful to all those who contributed and helped our youth exceed their goal. Here’s why this year’s cause meant so much to some of them:
“I chose this project because kids that get cancer don’t even get to enjoy their childhood because they get sick. They should get to enjoy and experience things and have fun and not have to worry about their illness.” J.S. Grade 9
“I chose this service project because it would benefit a lot of people positively. I felt taken aback after seeing Trinity’s generosity for the vast amount of people supporting the same cause I was supporting.” E.N, Grade 9
“We chose St. Jude’s as our project because it is important to us. Children, some younger than us are struggling with cancer. Finding a cure is immensely important. Our peers are suffering and we think it’s important to help in any way we can. I want to thank anyone that donated, whether it was giving your time, your money or ideas. Thank you.” K.N. Grade 11
“This service project meant so much and I’m so grateful for how generous the entire congregation was to our project.” A.S. Grade 11
