Maris Williams directs the Cherub (K-1st grade) and Carol (2nd-3rd grade) choirs at Trinity. She has directed younger choirs for more than 35 years, receiving credit from a college course with Helen Kemp at Westminster Choir College and learning valuable techniques from several Choristers Guild Workshops. She grew up in a musical, choir family and has always loved the special experience of worshiping through music in church. Her professional background includes a Master’s Degree + 30 hours in English. She taught college and high school English (including 9th grade English at Burlington Township High School for 10 years) and also has worked as a copy editor at Bloomberg Press and as a freelance editor now that she is retired.
